Community guidelines
Useful technical discussion stays visible. Promotion, repetition and unsafe conduct do not.
Be specific and evidence-led
Name the equipment, firmware, scene, settings and troubleshooting already attempted. Explain what changed and what result you need. Do not present assumptions as verified facts.
No unsolicited promotion
Do not post referral codes, copied sales copy, lead-generation messages, repeated business links or invitations to contact you privately. Commercial interests must be disclosed. New topics are reviewed, links trigger extra review and links are disabled in live chat.
Protect people and systems
Do not publish passwords, addresses, private footage, personal identifiers or configuration that exposes a live system. Do not request help to invade privacy, evade lawful access controls or misuse surveillance.
Treat people with respect
Challenge technical claims without attacking the person. Harassment, threats, discrimination, impersonation and deliberate disruption are removed.
How enforcement works
Verified sign-in, hidden bot traps, rate limits, duplicate checks, link controls and blocked-term screening act before publication. Members can report published topics, replies and chat. Repeated reports hide an item for moderator review. Moderators may approve, reject or remove content and restrict abusive participation.
No promise of zero abuse
No automated system can guarantee that every unwanted message is stopped. The standard is rapid containment, a strict review queue and human decisions—not an unrealistic claim that abuse is technically impossible.
